As a functional medicine practice, I may use a multitude of tests to ascertain why you are experiencing your symptoms. These tests are not diagnostic, instead, they look at how well your metabolic processes are functioning.
The three most common tests I run are the GI Map test, OAT, and ALCAT food sensitivity test. If you have out-of-network benefits, most functional medicine tests are partially reimbursed by your insurance carrier. Some tests are not available in New York state.
As I have a global practice, I have relationships with Colab EU and Regenerus Labs for functional medicine testing in the United Kingdom. I’ve partnered with Nordic Laboratories to offer functional medicine testing in Europe.
The only test that can be purchased without being a client is the ALCAT food sensitivity test. This requires a blood draw which we will arrange for you (US only). The food sensitivity test is helpful if you are experiencing joint pain, depression, food cravings, IBS, headaches, weight gain, fatigue, and hypothyroidism.
